We are all used to hearing the term Flag Officer, Flag ship in the Honorverse. Many of us probably know where that comes from - a ship carrying an Admiral (aka flag officer) got to fly a special flag. It provided a nice easy visual reference.

Any ideas of how, or even if, that could translate in the Honorverse? I could easily see an actual flag being mounted or on a stand in the boat bay, or quarterdeck or maybe even outside the access tube when tied to a space station.

Any other ideas on how to ID a flag ship (in peace time)? Probably not on the transponder I'd think.

The latest version is here: http://hmshector.homefleet.org/

However, the new site doesn't quite match the hull markings in JIR. Also, it's somewhat out of date as well. :)

Yes, the EWO for 1st fleet should be updating that. I'll get in touch with Jon and Jess about the 1st fleet websites. At this time, all sites should be using http://homefleet.org, however, I'm aware that not all ships have been transferred over.

It's a laborious WIP (work in progress).
