I am led to wonder if any of our members (besides the Bosun of HMS Black Rose and me) are aware of the test of the SpaceX SuperDraco engines that are scheduled to be tested on an actual crew capsule. The test is for a crew capsule that is mounted on a recovered booster, and the booster will be deliberately 'faulted' about about 80 seconds after liftoff to simulate a launch vehicle failure and verify that the crew capsule extraction/recovery system as a whole functions as it should.

It was scheduled for launch between 08:00 and 12:00 EST today, but was postponed to tomorrow at the same time slot. I intend to watch it live, if my other brain allows that.
