Here's a version of the original sheet posted by Shane with a correction to the formula calculating total minutes that should fix the multiplier issue - giving it to you if you have 3 or more TRMN players, but not giving a multiplier higher than 4 no matter how many TRMN members are playing.
Unfortunately as per 1SL, the AD and the Manual the maximum multiplier can only be 4... Shawn's formula is actually correct.
Unless there's a version that I missed, Shawn's version had [minutes*number of players] which did *not* cap the multiplier. My version *does* cap the multiplier at 4, even if there are more than 5 TRMN players, but is otherwise the same. Which is what I said in the post that you quoted.

(Sorry about messing up Shawn's name - I was posting from memory.)

I capped it by only having enough slots for the x4 multiplier as the form only has spots for four other members. The code of your versions is a great way to do it, I just tend to go with the simple methods and still learning Excel. I agree that your version would be best, when we get the new manual on how this will be run.

How about using a spreadsheet that we can actually open?

What problem are you having opening it?

Here is the most recent version of my tracking sheet.

Feel free to use and pass along ....

Note on Usage:
  1. You need to put in all the previous awards and when they were issued for usage of legacy functionality
  2. You need to make sure that you have each member recorded that you are going to capture on the game log along with the chapter information for any ships which they belong to
  3. It will record up to a maximum modifier of x4 for all games played; after 6 players it will automatically give GM credit towards the member who you enter in as Player #1/Organizer.
  4. If you are tracking for multiple members I have left enabled the ability to copy the Worksheets so you can make multiple copies of each INDIVIDUAL so you can just leave it set for the members you want to track.
If you all have any questions and/or notes please let me know. I am currently developing a v2 of this in MS Access that will allow for Web-Based reporting as well as multiple reports for the host of the main sheet (great for FLEET/SHIP Tactical Officers to track eligibilities)

The dropdowns on the distribution spreadsheet have not worked for me, on either version of the spreadsheet - they're just blank. On version 1.5, I got the chapter dropdown on the member sheet to work, but that's the only one. Is it maybe a version mismatch in Excel? I'm using Office 365, so have the most up to date version . . . .

1.5 was developed in Office365.

All the drop downs have been working on multiple pcs for me

Okay . . . well, it's not working on either my laptop or my Surface. If you'd like to PM the password so I could unprotect the sheets and try to troubleshoot, that would be awesome.

So I've downloaded the V6 version of the sheet. The dropdowns initially appeared to be unfilled, until I scrolled up. Then I found the chapter information and member information. it is worth noting that you must first enter the chapter information (other than CO/XO/Bosun) onto the chapter sheet. Then enter the member information for the CO/XO/Bosun onto the member list. Finally, go back to the Chapter list sheet and select the CO, XO, and Bosun from the dropdowns (again, you may have to scroll up).

My only issue is that, unless something has changed since it was announced, doesn't a game where there can be only one winner give bonus credit to the winner of the game? It doesn't look like this spreadsheet currently awards that credit. Was that an oversight, or was that changed?

Working on adding that in with the next patch of the spreadsheet ... it was "minor" on my list as it was only an hour bonus; but when I roll out v1.7 or v1.8 it will be there.
