Ladies and Gentleman, I appreciate your enthusiasm, but you can't go off and create certificates without sending it through the normal approval process. There ARE certificates for the RMN/RMMC Marksmanship awards.

Let's start with not issuing any homegrown certificates. I provided the 1SL with a zip file of all the official certificates for all the awards that Fleet CO's are the issuing authority. And while your Fleet CO may have you help with manage the process, ultimately, he is the one that issues the award.

understood, is it ok to issue a promise for a regular certificate once its decided upon ok?
the big reason we did what we did was to try and clear up a large backlog of of awards some dating back almost 2 years
since I took over as Range officer 2nd fleet 1/1/2018 I have send almost 100 awards for 56 people up the food chain, none of who had gotten certificates.. that backlog is now clear... and our captains are doing a fine job of reporting information on time, and in good order. this whole thing started last year when I asked about my pistol when it had gone most of 6 months.

I really want to do the best job possible, and do whatever I can to help other folks as needed

I will provide official Certificates to all Fleet COs as soon as I have them. DO NOT CREATE YOUR OWN....

Like I said Kevin, I do appreciate your enthusiasm and your desire to do a good job. But fleets can't just create their own certificates for official awards, especially without running them through the official approval process.

I set aside the cert blanks in question, I also set aside the list of who received them. none will be issued til a new cert blank is issued... I get that trying to solve one headache can cause a bigger one... this only affects the Pistol and Rifle certifcates.

In service to the queen

I doublechecked for sanitys sake Sir, John Neitz sent me the package of certificate blanks, and that he got all but the Pistol and Rifle Marksmanship blanks directly from you Sir, and thats what we have used except for the those.

I apologize for using the wrong froms

I think we still have a terminology mismatch here @Kevin Walsh. Do you have certificate blanks for Pistol and Rifle Sharpshooter, Expert and High Expert ribbons that were provided to the Fleet CO's by @John Roberts, 1SL and had only made up the pistol and rifle Marksman Certificate? Or are you saying that you did not get certificates for any marksmanship level?
