Myself and a few other Marines play the following weekly

Ghost Recon Wildlands
Grand Theft Auto 5
Elite Dangerous

We're online for at least 5 hours every Saturday night. How would we count that?

Per the AD these would fall under plasma carbine

<Plasma Carbine games are electronic, video or computer games that cover tactical subject matter. Vintage arcade and console games as well as pinball and other coin-op attractions fall under the Plasma Carbine category by default in most cases. Only games of this vintage that are explicitly strategic in theme, such as The Blue and The Gray or Nobunaga’s Ambition are not included under this heading.>

Tactical multiplayer games, and single-player games organized into a game day or tournament give credit toward the Plasma Carbine qualification.

Please also note that there is a section of the AD and/or Draft Manual that was out for a bit that says that the person in charge of the area's gaming has some flexibility if one or more areas of the taxonomy would apply; but once the decision is made it stays that way.

So check with your FCO to see who that person is.
