2022 Marksmanship Challenge Final Announcement
Attention Marksmanship Challenge Participants:
The 8th Fleet/IAN 2022 Marksmanship Challenge event was a resounding success. We had one hundred ninety-three (193) individuals participating who earned an astounding 37,851 credits toward marksmanship awards. Thank you to everyone who participated.
Amazon Gift Cards
Once the challenge was over, the top 3 credit-earning TRMN members from each fleet and the RMA were entered into a random drawing. The three participants listed below were drawn at random and will each be awarded a $20 Amazon gift card (compliments of an anonymous donor).
Nathan Brakefield (HMS Chimera) – $20 Amazon gift card
Sean Ireland (HMS Specter) – $20 Amazon gift card
Nathan Niemi (SMS Haudegen) – $20 Amazon gift card
Royal Meritorious Unit Citation
Finally, at the option of each participating fleet CO, one chapter in each fleet whose members collectively earned the most points may be awarded the coveted “Royal Meritorious Unit Citation”. If, at their sole discretion, they choose to bestow this award, the fleet CO will make the announcement on behalf of their fleet.
