My son plays a lot of Halo, in its various incarnations, which he would love to see incorporated into the marksmanship programmes.
I've explained to him that he marksmanship medals look at tactical games rather than "retail" combat - am I right in reading them that way?
He plays lots of matchmaking type games - scratch teams from however is in the lobby; these seem to suit the social side of things, and seem to be quite good for exercise in teamwork, but are working as individuals rather than commanding armies. Another option might be Halo Wars, which I'm hoping to get into, and trying to interest JJ in; this is commanding troop units, and IIRC can be played multiplayer online.
Might either of both of these be an option for marksmanship medals, presuming there is some way of documenting play?
